It is the 4th Anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War.  A conflict that was supposedly started to keep Americans safe.  Saddam was linked to Al-Qaeda.  Weapons of Mass Destruction were being produced.  America was under attack!  We have, of course, since discovered that this was not the case.  Saddam was undoubtedly a bad guy, but was about as much a threat to the U.S. as Patriot missiles were to SCUDs in the first Gulf War.  Turns out, the real threat to the citizens of the United States was much closer to home.  Yes, George W. Bush has now killed more U.S. troops by sending them to Iraq than Osama Bin Laden killed in the 9/11 attacks.

Now normally, I would not lay the blame for war deaths on our Commander-in-Chief.  If a war needs to be fought, than the blame for the deaths should be laid at the feet of the enemy.  I blame Hitler for U.S. deaths in WWII, not Roosevelt.  But Bush lied to start this war, fought it stupidly, and continues to throw good lives after bad deaths.  He is a murderer.  A greater murderer than Bin Laden, one of the worst criminals of our generation.  But George has a bigger body count now, so we have to give him the top spot.

Happy anniversary, George, you're number one.  I hope you rot in Hell.
